CyanogenMod on nook 10 HD+ with Ubuntu for dummies

Precondition: Ubuntu, Nook 10 HD+, SD Card

This is the guide I used in order to update my nook 10 HD+ with cyanogenmod 11.

Few things to note though:

  1. Download the release stable not nightly (I prefer stable, they point to nightly)
  2. Use ubuntu to format sd card simply format to FAT-32 using "Disks" appication already bundled in your ubuntu, Format your sd card to FAT-32 and set two flags on it with the software you fomat it (I used Ubuntu Disks) LBA flag and Boot flag
  3. Before backing up (its in one of the steps they have there) consider cleaning up your nook (even do factory reset via nook settings) otherway backup would take such a long time...
